Please send in your child’s book bag into school this Friday morning

Reading books and homework are to be brought in to school on a Friday– they will be sent home on a Tuesday

We are pleased to announce that from today we have a e-platform containing library books. This service is provided to us from the Knowsley Library service and Wheelers.

All children from Reception to Year 6 are able to access library books from the Knowsley library. A notification will be given out this week and you will be  informed of your child’s username and password. You can then log on through the following link

www.eplatform.co

You will then be able to download the App onto your device and start borrowing library books electronically.

PE

No PE kits need to be brought into school until further notice.

We will confirm our PE day soon.

Please follow us on twitter- @class_adams

Good Evening. The children’s activities have been uploaded to DoJo for this week, rather than Twitter. You can find the planning/ worksheets on the class pages of the website. You should have received an email tonight to explain this. Packs are available at school @ssppcps

A big well done to all our pupils @ssppcps who are working hard at home and in school 👏🏻! A big well done to all school staff and all Parents and Carers for the fantastic job you are doing for our pupils! ⭐️ Have a lovely weekend! #StayHomeStaySafe

Thank you to all our children and families for all your hard work this week with your home and school learning activities. We are very proud of you all. Here are this weeks schools certificates for both home and school learning. Take care and stay safe @ssppcps @ClassOwen1

In maths today we are thinking about using the language of full, empty and half full. Can you use a container, bottle or a plastic cup to show your family what full, empty and half full looks like? @ssppcps @ClassOwen1

Here are the word time words to use alongside the daily RWI phonics session at 9.30am on YouTube. Our new words that we ’sound out’ are 1.6 (as a challenge you might try 1.7). We try and read 1.1,1.2 by sight. @ssppcps @ClassOwen1

Don’t forget to look at Development Matters below for what your child should be able to do.  You count how many months your child is and look at what they should be doing for each area of learning.   At the end of Reception, the government expect children to be at Early Learning Goals.

Home Learning

If your child is self isolating at home awaiting for results or a family members results-you may ring school to arrange to pick up a Home Learning Pack.

Your child  has also been given an individual password to access Mathletics from home. Please let us know if you need another copy as this is a really useful online learning tool to support your child’s maths learning from home.

You can contact staff via the school email address, ringing the school office (0151 477 8205)  or on the class twitter page during school hours.
