Playing with waterThe Nursery and Reception provide the ideal educational environment. The children will be given every opportunity to develop their physical, intellectual, social and emotional abilities. At the early stages of development a child learns through play. The Nursery and Reception have the materials, equipment and staff to help each child progress at their own pace. Experiences include; Personal, social and emotional development‚ Communication, Language and literacy‚ Mathematical development‚ Knowledge and understanding of the world‚ Physical development‚ Creative development.

Come and See’, the Religious Education Programme for Primary Schools, is used as the basis for our RE teaching. The aim of this programme is to explore the religious dimension of questions about life, dignity and purpose within the Catholic tradition. Links are made with children’s own experiences.

We intend that the children will learn independence, communicate, make friends, release their emotions and develop concentration.

Children have an excellent start in the Early Years Foundation Stage; the setting is well-staffed with very experienced and highly-competent practitioners who give children every chance to flourish. OFSTED Nov 2011
